GZXZEP General Wastewater Treatment Defoamer is a nonionic liquid foam-control chemical developed for biological and physicochemical wastewater treatment systems. Its fast-spreading formulation destabilizes persistent foam films, providing rapid foam knockdown and helping suppress foam re-formation without disrupting normal treatment when correctly dosed.
It is widely used in municipal and industrial wastewater treatment plants, biological aeration tanks, physicochemical reaction tanks, circulation systems, and pharmaceutical or mineral-processing wastewater applications.
• Rapid foam knockdown: company test method reports ≤5 seconds.
• Residual foam suppression: company test method reports ≥2.5 hours.
• Nonionic formulation with good water dispersibility.
• Suitable for direct or diluted dosing after a site test.
• Municipal and industrial wastewater plants.
• Biological aeration tanks.
• Physicochemical reaction tanks.
• Pharmaceutical and mineral-processing wastewater.
• Model: XZ8605.
• Appearance: Milky-white liquid.
• Viscosity: 1,000–3,000 cSt.
• Specific gravity: 1.00±0.05.
• pH: 7–9.
• Dosing: Direct addition or dilution; determine the final dose by foam test.
1. The defoamer spreads across the foam film.
2. The film loses stability and ruptures.
3. Residual defoamer droplets help suppress foam re-formation.
• Packaging: 25 kg drum or 1,000 kg IBC.
• Storage: Store in a cool, dry and shaded place. Protect from freezing, excessive heat and direct sunlight.
• Keep the container tightly closed after use.
• Customized formulation — The formulation and dose are selected from the actual foam type, surfactant load, temperature and biological-process compatibility. This normally provides better treatment performance and overall cost efficiency than a one-formulation-for-all product.
• In-house manufacturing — Competitive factory pricing, stable batch quality and fast lead times.
• In-house laboratory — Rapid sample testing, formulation screening and continuous product improvement.
• Engineering support — Professional engineers provide product selection, dosing, commissioning and after-sales troubleshooting support.
