GZXZEP OWT Series Emulsion Breaker is a liquid polymeric demulsifier developed for industrial oily wastewater and stable oil-in-water or water-in-oil emulsions. Its high-charge formulation weakens the protective film around emulsified oil droplets, promotes emulsion destabilization and floc formation, and supports oil-water separation, flotation, sedimentation and downstream COD-load reduction.
It is widely used for cutting-fluid wastewater, rolling emulsions, electroplating degreasing wastewater, coatings and ink wastewater, printing and dyeing wastewater, food-processing wastewater, oilfield wastewater, steel cold-rolling wastewater and coking wastewater.
• 16 application-specific grades for different wastewater types.
• Rapid emulsion destabilization and visible floc formation.
• Supports oil removal and COD-load reduction before biological treatment.
• Can be combined with PAC/PAM, settling or dissolved-air flotation after jar testing.
• Metalworking: rolling emulsions, wire drawing, cutting fluids, surface treatment and electroplating degreasing.
• Chemical processes: coatings, paint, water-based ink, textile printing and dyeing.
• Food and personal care: food processing, kitchen waste, shampoo and detergent wastewater.
• Heavy industry: oilfield, steel cold rolling and coking wastewater.
• Model: OWT Series.
• Product form: Liquid; grade-specific appearance and pH to be confirmed.
• Target emulsions: W/O and O/W.
• Catalog jar-test reference: 0.1–1.0 mL product per 100 mL wastewater.
• Catalog reference pH: 8–9 where alkaline adjustment is applicable.
• Grade selection: Jar test required; 16 OWT grades available.
1. The demulsifier weakens the protective film around emulsified oil droplets.
2. Oil droplets and colloids lose stability and aggregate into larger flocs or oil-rich phases.
3. Settling, skimming or flotation separates the oil, water and solids.
• Packaging: 25 kg drum or 1,000 kg IBC.
• Storage: Store sealed in a cool, dry and shaded place. Protect from freezing, heat and direct sunlight.
• Keep the container tightly closed after use.
• Customized formulation — The OWT grade is selected from the actual water sample, emulsion type, oil/surfactant composition and downstream process. This normally provides better treatment performance and overall cost efficiency than a one-formulation-for-all product.
• In-house manufacturing — Competitive factory pricing, stable batch quality and fast lead times.
• In-house laboratory — Rapid sample testing, formulation screening and continuous product improvement.
• Engineering support — Professional engineers provide product selection, dosing, commissioning and after-sales troubleshooting support.
