Product Introduction Key Advantages Application Industries Technical Specifications Working Principle Packaging & Storage Why Choose GZXZEP Chemicals?

GZXZEP Sodium Acetate is a solid, readily biodegradable external carbon source developed for wastewater denitrification. After dissolution, acetate provides denitrifying bacteria with a consistent and rapidly available electron donor, helping convert nitrate and nitrite into nitrogen gas in wastewater with insufficient organic carbon.
It is widely used in municipal and industrial low-C/N wastewater, anoxic tanks, biological denitrification systems and total-nitrogen polishing applications equipped with a dissolution and metering system.

• Rapid biological availability. • Consistent carbon composition. • Easy dry-product transport and storage. • Suitable for plants with an existing dissolution and dosing system.
• Municipal wastewater denitrification. • Industrial low-C/N wastewater. • Anoxic tanks. • Total-nitrogen polishing.
• Model: NBC-44WS. • Form: White crystalline powder or granules. • Grade: Approximately 60% sodium acetate trihydrate according to the catalog. • COD equivalent: Approximately 440,000 mg/kg. • Catalog reference dose: Approximately 8.5 g product per g NO₃-N removed. • Use: Dissolve in a make-down tank before metered dosing.
1. The solid is dissolved to prepare a stable dosing solution. 2. Denitrifying bacteria use acetate as an electron donor. 3. Nitrate and nitrite are converted to nitrogen gas in the anoxic tank.
• Packaging: 25 kg moisture-resistant bag. • Storage: Store in a dry, cool and ventilated warehouse. Protect from moisture, water and caking. • Reseal opened bags immediately to prevent moisture uptake and contamination.
• Customized formulation — The product grade, solution concentration and dose are selected from nitrate loading, storage conditions and the plant's make-down system. This normally provides better treatment performance and overall cost efficiency than a one-formulation-for-all product. • In-house manufacturing — Competitive factory pricing, stable batch quality and fast lead times. • In-house laboratory — Rapid sample testing, formulation screening and continuous product improvement. • Engineering support — Professional engineers provide product selection, dosing, commissioning and after-sales troubleshooting support.
