Product Introduction Key Advantages Application Industries Technical Specifications Working Principle Packaging & Storage Why Choose GZXZEP Chemicals?

GZXZEP Halotolerant Microbial Consortium is a salt-tolerant bioaugmentation culture developed for biological treatment of high-salinity wastewater. Its acclimated microorganisms maintain metabolic activity under elevated osmotic pressure, helping support organic-matter degradation, reactor start-up and process stability after gradual salinity adaptation.
It is widely used in petrochemical, pharmaceutical, leather, paper, printing and dyeing, and saline food-processing wastewater treatment.

• Catalog operating salinity: 1%–4% after proper acclimation. • Maintains degradation of selected aromatic hydrocarbons. • Supports anaerobic start-up and TOC removal. • Reduces the risk of salt shock to ordinary activated sludge.
• Petrochemical wastewater. • Pharmaceutical and leather wastewater. • Paper and printing/dyeing wastewater. • Saline food-processing wastewater.
• Model: XZ8871. • Form: Powder. • Viable cell count: ≥1.0×10¹⁰ CFU/g. • Catalog salinity range: 1%–4% after acclimation. • Dosing point: Biological or anaerobic tank.
1. Halotolerant organisms maintain osmotic balance under elevated salt. 2. Gradual acclimation builds a stable salt-tolerant community. 3. Performance depends on salinity profile and wastewater composition.
• Packaging: 25 kg moisture-resistant bag. • Storage: Store sealed in a cool, dry and shaded place. Protect from moisture, heat and direct sunlight. • Reseal opened bags immediately to prevent moisture uptake and contamination.
• Customized formulation — The strain combination, activation method and dosage plan are selected according to pollutants, biological process, temperature and loading. This normally provides better treatment performance and overall cost efficiency than a one-formulation-for-all product. • In-house manufacturing — Competitive factory pricing, stable batch quality and fast lead times. • In-house laboratory — Rapid sample testing, formulation screening and continuous product improvement. • Engineering support — Professional engineers provide product selection, dosing, commissioning and after-sales troubleshooting support.
