Products for complex organics, biological recovery, nitrogen removal, foam, evaporation and membrane systems.
Pharmaceutical wastewater can vary by product campaign and cleaning schedule and may contain concentrated organics, aromatic compounds, solvents, salts or inhibitory residues. Equalization and source segregation are essential before biological products are selected.
GZXZEP supplies selected microbial cultures, carbon sources, defoamers and RO chemicals for applications where wastewater characterization and controlled trials support their use.
| Treatment challenge | Treatment approach | Relevant GZXZEP products | Application point |
| High or refractory COD | Evaluate general or aromatic-compound cultures after toxicity review. | XZ8811; XZ8831 | Biological treatment |
| Biological shock or slow recovery | Correct the cause and evaluate a biostimulant. | XZ8809 | Aeration or biochemical tank |
| Ammonia and nitrate instability | Separate nitrification and denitrification evaluation. | XZ8821; XZ8822; NBC-70W/NBC-44WS | Aerobic and anoxic stages |
| Wastewater or MVR foam | Select the process-specific defoamer. | XZ8605; XZ-0188 | Foaming tank or MVR |
| RO fouling or scaling | Use membrane-compatible chemicals and CIP. | XZ9901/XZ9902/XZ9903/XZ9905/XZ9906 | RO feed and CIP |
XZ8811 is a broad COD-degrading culture. XZ8831 is intended for persistent aromatic compounds. Any trial should first assess inhibition and should not replace source control or pretreatment for concentrated solvents and active ingredients.

XZ8821 and XZ8822 address the aerobic and anoxic nitrogen stages. NBC-70W or NBC-44WS may supply carbon for denitrification. XZ8809 may support biomass recovery after the inhibitory cause is corrected.

XZ8605 is for general wastewater foam, while XZ-0188 is intended for MVR service. RO products should be selected using feedwater analysis, membrane compatibility and foulant identification.

GZXZEP provides product selection, laboratory evaluation and application support. Final performance depends on wastewater characteristics, process conditions, equipment and site operation.
Not automatically. Source segregation, solvent recovery or pretreatment may be required, and inhibition must be evaluated before a biological trial.
XZ8831 is the listed aromatic-ring degradation microbial consortium.
Use XZ8605 for general wastewater foam and evaluate XZ-0188 for MVR conditions. Do not substitute without testing.
Provide the wastewater source, flow, recent analysis, current treatment process, chemicals now in use and the required discharge or reuse target. A sample may be requested after the initial review.
