GZXZEP signs a strategic partnership covering specialty membrane products and combined chemicals-plus-membrane service.
Guangzhou, China — GZXZEP (Guangzhou Xiaozhong Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd.) has signed a comprehensive strategic partnership agreement with a Beijing-based specialty membrane manufacturer, covering product distribution, project application, chemical–membrane system integration, field service and market development.
What joins the portfolio
The partnership adds a range of specialty membrane products to GZXZEP’s existing water treatment chemicals and RO membrane chemicals lines:
MBR tubular membranes for landfill leachate, food-waste digestate and other high-fouling streams
Alkali-resistant softening membranes (TR type) for hardness, silica and fluoride removal and zero-liquid-discharge pretreatment
Carbon-source membranes for filtering food-waste three-phase slurry or hydrolysate into fermentable carbon source
Dewatering membranes and vertical tubular membranes for sludge and concentrate handling
Hollow-fiber ultrafiltration for boiler feed water, water reuse and deionized-water production
The partner, founded in 2003 with R&D and production in Zhenjiang, Jiangsu, operates a German-imported tubular membrane production line; its tubular membranes are deployed in more than 300 projects across 28 Chinese provinces, including over 1,500 field cases in landfill leachate and power-plant applications.
Why chemicals-plus-membranes beats either alone
Most membrane system failures that look like “membrane problems” are chemical problems: wrong coagulant dose ahead of ultrafiltration, incompatible antiscalant, or biofilm left to mature. Combining GZXZEP’s 16 years of water chemistry experience — flocculants, antiscalants, biocides and CIP cleaners from the XZ99xx program — with specialty membrane hardware lets one team own the whole train:
Combined offering: feed conditioning & fouling control chemicals → membrane selection & system design → commissioning → CIP and performance-recovery service → ongoing dosing optimization.
For industrial buyers weighing imported versus domestic membrane supply, the partnership also provides a practical import-alternative path: performance-equivalent tubular membranes with shorter lead times, local service response and lower total cost of ownership.
Who benefits first
Priority application scenarios include landfill leachate and food-waste digestate plants, iron & steel and surface-treatment wastewater, petrochemical reuse projects, power-plant boiler feed and circulation systems, and material-separation processes such as carbon-source production from organic waste. Engineering companies and end users can request combined chemical-membrane proposals and pilot support from GZXZEP’s R&D Center.
